For many years the Squadron was responsible for administering the range at West Malling on behalf of other units in Kent. Squadron Leader Cayton became the Kent Wing Musketry Officer in 1954, and was appointed to Wing Staff in 1955.
Today, the Squadron is fortunate in having extensive accommodation with splendid training facilities. Although the Squadron is still a force to be reckoned with in shooting, a wide variety of other activities are also undertaken
